Tips for finding trade association websites

Trade associations represent and promote the interests of its members, who are experts in a specific industry. The associations produce reports that examine the industry. Association websites often contain industry news and information, although some data may be available to members only. To find association websites, use the tips below:

Google: industry description AND association.
- Example: beer AND association
Most association websites have a .org ending to their URL. Adding the command, site:.org , to a Google search will limit results to those sites ending in .org.
- Example: fiber optics AND association site:.org
