Hours and Access

For the health, safety and well-being of our students, faculty and staff, Snowden Library is temporarily closing the building effective Friday, March 20 at 4:30p.m. until further notice. 

We continue to offer access to electronic resources and offer research help services as our staff works remotely. 

Dean Meyer and her team from the ARC/MATH Center are working remotely. ITS is present in the building. Contact them via phone/email.

Services Still Available:

  • Electronic materials through Snowden's databases
  • Research help via phone (570-321-4086) Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm Eastern Daylight Time or email (broussm@lycoming.edu).
  • Interlibrary Loan - article and book chapter requests only

Not Available:

  • E-Z Borrow
  • Interlibrary Loan for books
  • Snowden's physical collections (print books and journals)

 

Return of library materials:

  • Students, Faculty, and Staff are permitted to keep all library materials until the end of the semester.
  • We have temporarily suspended returns and fines for overdue materials. (Bear with us as we disable overdue notifications).
  • We will keep you informed when we determine the best method to return library materials.
  • If you are on-campus and want to return materials, you may do so by placing them in the book drop boxes outside of the library building.
