ILLiad InterLibrary Loan (ILL)

A how-to guide for placing requests for article and book chapters.

Request via Database Searches

When searching within library databases you will have the option to request material not available in our collections.

1. Conduct your search.

2. Use the 'Lycoming Availability' links provided in your search results to access sources.

3. A new window will open. If the item is available in a different database, that database will be linked under 'Full Text Finder Results.' If it is not available in a different database, click the 'Request this Item Button" to place your request in ILL.

4.  This will take you to the ILLiad logon page. Use your Lycoming username and password to login.

5. .Once you logon, the citation information will auto-populate into the request form -- then hit "Submit Request" at the bottom of the form.  First-time ILLiad users will be directed to create an account.
